Individual Activity 3 - Cell Structure
The final activity will require you to do some art. Get out your art supplies and make some room in your work space. Raise your hand and ask your teacher for the paper that you are supposed to use. One sheet will be for your drawing of an animal cell, while the other will be for a plant cell. There are certain organelles that need to be present and labeled. I will not be judging your art skill but rather your effort, accuracy and neatness.
For the animal cell, the following organelles must be drawn and labeled:
Cell membrane
Mitochondrion
Nucleus
Nucleolus
Golgi Apparatus
Vacuole
Cytoplasm
For the plant cell, the following organelles must be drawn and labeled:
Cell wall
Chloroplasts
Nucleus
Nucleolus
Mitochondrion
Vacuole
Endoplasmic Reticulum
